The 2 hours boat ride through the man made lake at Thekkady is an exhilarating experience to watch wild animals at close quarters while they come down to the lake side. Some people are lucky enough to see herds of wild elephants with their young ones at the lake side. The tickets are available from the Information centre. Tickets are available at the Wildlife Information centre. Timings of the boat cruise are : 7am, 9.30am, 11.30am, 2pm & 4pm.
