We reached Hyderabad for a conference and we increased our stay for 2 days to visit the historical city. Our hotel was located in Secunderabad, which is right next to Hyderabad city. These two cities are separated by the Hussain Sagar Lake.In the morning we went to see the famous Charminar and the old city of Hyderabad exuded its olden charm. We also visited the Mecca Masjid nearby.The Hyderabadi biryani was delicious.Evening we spent at the Hussain Sagar and enjoyed the boating and also visited the statue of Buddha in the middle of the lake. Next day, in the morning we visited the Salarjung museum and also shopped for the Hyderabad pearls. Later in the afternoon, we visited the Golconda Fort and also saw the light and sound show in the evening.
