The Tata Tea museum is situated at the Nallathanni Estate in Munnar. The museum displays the evolution of tea estates with the ancient tea rollers and the modern automated tea factory.Tea processing can also be watched. Some of the museum artifacts are the 'Rotorvane' tea roller, 'Pelton Wheel' used in the power generation plant, a rail engine wheel, a sundial, classic bungalow furniture, typewriters, wooden bathtub, magneto phone, iron oven, manual calculators and EPABX of the1909 telephone system.Tea tasting is also possible for visitors. Timings:10:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. (open 7 days a week) Entry Fee: Adults: Rs.50 Children below 12 years: Rs.10
