About Mannuthy

Mannuthy is a famous town of Thrissur and its known mainly for its plant nurseries.Its a satellite town in the suburban area of Thrissur.The College of Veterinary and Animal sciences, College of Dairy Science and Technology and Agricultural Research Station are some of the prominent institutions in Mannuthy. Mannuthy is also an entry point to tourist destinations like Wildlife Sanctuary at Peechi and Vazhani dams. Mannuthy is also near Chembuthara which is famous for the Pattathippaara and Makarachowa festival It is celebrated every January.

It is located on National highway 47 en route to Palakkad and on the junction of Thrissur Bypass on National Highway NH47. Its just 5kms from Thrissur's Swaraj Round.
